Liebe Geft
was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She
has built a career in education and
communications on four continents. Her career has included being the
editor and anchor for the Financial News Network and hosting
educational radio and television programs. In 1996 she joined the
Museum of Tolerance, the educational arm of the Simon Wiesenthal
Center, becoming Museum Director in 1998. Over the past eleven years,
she has designed and directed educational programs on issues related
to diversity, hate crimes, ethical decision making and innovative
leadership for hundreds of thousands of professionals in the U.S. public
and private sectors, law enforcement personnel and educators from
around theworld. She has been recognized by the President's Council on
Race, the U.S. Department of Justice and has been an invited speaker at
UNESCO in Paris. In 2004 she received the Global Peace and Tolerance
Award for the Museum of Tolerance at the United Nations.
